USDA: Universal Skill Development Assistant
Born from the need of tracking and simplifying piano practice sessions, USDA (name tbd) aims to make practising any skill more efficient with minimal effort. After a short setup you will find exercises relevant to that skill and most importantly a practice planner, so that you can have a great session including warmup and cooldown, regardless of whether you have 5 or 50 minutes.
When I practice piano, I often have time slots of varying lengths, multiple exercises I could do and pieces I could practice. Thus scheduling my time efficiently out of my head is almost impossible - and if you approach something without schedule, it tends to derail.
Develop a usable and useful product that continues to be used after the semester, potentially even as a small business.
At least one working session in person per week, other than that be transparent with your commitments and expectations so that we can all benefit from the project. Regular teambuilding sessions such as a lunch or playing games together would also be nice :)
